Identification of Medical Outpatient Medical Record Distribution in Tk.III Hospital Dr.Reksodiwiryo Padang

Abstract


Distribution of medical records at Tk.III Hospital
Dr.Reksodiwiryo Padang using human labor or couriers.
The distribution of outpatient medical records to the
clinic is still not optimal. The purpose of this study was
to determine the identification of the implementation of
the distribution of outpatient medical records at Tk.III
Hospital Dr.Reksodiwiryo Padang. This type of research
is descriptive using quantitative methods with cross
sectional research design. This research was conducted at
Tk.III Hospital Dr.Reksodiwiryo Padang. Data collection
technique is observation using checklist tables. Data
analysis with univariate analysis and data processed
using computerization. The results of this study found that
of 96 (100%) medical records there were 61.2% of medical
records that were not found, 62.6% of medical records
that were not processed, 52.9% of medical records that
were misplaced, and as many as 68.2% implementation
of medical record distribution which is not appropriate.
The conclusion of this study is the implementation of the
distribution of medical records is not in accordance with
existing policies at the hospital, More than half of medical
records that are not found in the storage room, causing
delays in the distribution of medical records to the clinic.
It is better for the medical records officer to increase their
responsibilities, attitudes that have been given so that the
medical services provided to patients run smoothly and
patients do not wait too long to receive medical services.
