The Relationship of Difficulties’s Question Test with Final Year Student’s Competence of Medical Records and Health Information Management Program Study

Abstract


The quality of the questions will determine the
success of students in determining the answers to the
questions which will be tested. The purpose of this study
is to analyze the relationship between the difficulty of
questions with the competence of students in Medical
Record & Health Information Management (MRHIM).
The design of this study is observational analytic. The
population of this study is 128 MRHIM study programs
with students who take the competency of try out test
in 2018 and as a sample are 128 students who take the
competency of try out test. The collection data uses online
questionnaires and secondary data in the try out’s data
form of the competency test. The data analysis uses
the chi-square test. The results of the study are found by
students who consider the difficult question ; 76 (59.4%)
people; enough questions; 35 (27.3%) people; an easy
questions; 17 (13.3%) people. 50 people are competent
and 78 people are not competent yet. There is a significant
correlation between the difficulty’s questions with the
competence of final year students. This study concludes
that students who go through difficult exam questions tend
to be incompetent 3.3 times , are compared to students
who go through non-difficult questions.
